In Florida you will need an attorney to represent you when making a claim for foreclosure surpluses. We recommend that you reach out to at least 3 attorneys and explain that you have an Assignment of Interest for surplus from a foreclosure sale. Explain that you have a contract for the recovery of surplus with a party of interest in the surplus and ask what they would charge to represent you in recovering the surplus.
